New Student Registration

New Student Registration: if your child is new to Edmonton Public Schools, registration must be completed online. Please click HERE for more information about registration.

For the 2026 - 2027 school year, Waverley School is full in planned classes in Kindergarten and Grades 2, 4, 5 and 6 in the regular program and Kindergarten and Grades 1 and 2 in the Cogito program. Though we can no longer accept enrolment for Kindergarten and Grade 1 and 2 in the Cogito program, you can be added to the waitlist for Kindergarten or Grades 1 or 2 Cogito. Please email waverley@epsb.ca for further information and requirements. Please note, waitlists are for Cogito classes only. Students not accepted through random selection can remain on a wait list until September 29. Open seats will be offered to the first student on the waitlist.

For the regular program, we will now only accept resident students for Kindergarten and Grades 2, 4, 5 and 6 whose parent(s)/legal guardian(s) have newly moved into the school’s attendance area. A resident student of Edmonton Public Schools has at least one parent or legal guardian living in Edmonton who is not Roman Catholic. Non-resident students can enroll in another Division school with space in planned classes.

Kindergarten Registration:
Children who are born between January 1, 2021, and December 31, 2021, are eligible to register for Kindergarten. You must register your child for Kindergarten, online HERE. Please note, you may register at one school only.
